Quote of the Day!

"All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." ~Charles M. Schulz

An international cuisine enthusiast, Yasamin desires to bring different flavors and cultures to dinner tables around the world. A true lover of all things food, Yasamin is an amateur home chef, aspiring author, daughter, sister and aunt. Her international travels inspired her to begin trying her hand at dishes from the South of France to Sorrento, Italy to her native country of Iran.

As a child, Yasamin spent many days watching her mother and aunt prepare for dinner parties and devote hours to creating tasty, authentic dishes. As she grew older, she developed a fondness for entertaining, but realized that the pressures of entertaining, coupled with the responsibilities of being a modern adult made authentic and healthy cooking a luxury that only those devoted to the home could afford. It was then that she came to realize the value of having quick, minimal-effort recipes that would not intimidate even the most novice of cooks. Armed with a well-stocked pantry and a camera, she started Pinch My Saffron to document her experiences in the kitchen and encourage people to try their hands at her simple recipes.

“Growing up, our meals were earthy and hardy. Love and the utmost attention to the palette were evident in every bite. I try to incorporate those same traditions in my cooking today, while keeping it as simple as possible.”
